Weatherwood is a 200 bed rehabilitation and long term
care healthcare complex located in a picturesque country setting
in the Western Poconos in Weatherly, PA. The facility is air-conditioned
and has 2 elevators. The resident care area includes fully-equipped
physical therapy and occupational therapy suites, a large activity
room, a personal care room, pharmacy, dental clinic and eye clinic.
Speech therapy is available as needed. Our facility also includes
a full-service laundry, a large kitchen, resident and staff dining
rooms, and a chapel for meditation and worship. Weatherwood is equipped
with a Wanderguard Departure Alert System that monitors residents
that wander. All 4 Nursing Units have 2 comfortable lounges with
color television and seating for reading, social relaxation, and
companionship for the residents.
