The Carbon County Economic Development
Office was formed by the Carbon County Commissioners to assist,
encourage, aid and promote the industrial and commercial welfare
of Carbon County. The office administers state loans and two county
business loans and provides a full range of services: business and
small business technical assistance, site selection, marketing, etc.
Also, the Director is Secretary/Director of a non-profit organization,
The Carbon County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) which
is a vehicle for cooperative projects such as Pennsylvania Industrial
Development Authority (PIDA) Loans. The office also, manages a 40,000
sq. ft. multi-tenant building. |
